Main Floor - Small Dining Room
  • Round Table - Victorian - walnut.
  • Chairs - Late Victorian, bases are ebonized walnut.
  • China Cabinet - Early Victorian - maple and birdseye maple - might have been manufactured in Quebec although it is similar to some early Manitoba pieces. This piece was originally used on the Second and Third Floors as a bookcase. It now replaces a fireplace which deteriorated badly and was removed in 1976.
  • Sideboard - Victorian - walnut. Original in house. Note handles.
  • Silver Tray is oldest known piece of Canadian made silver that is in Manitoba. High silver content - very bendable.
  • Antique Brass Curat Stand - circa 1885, English; a favourite type of cake stand or server used in the Victorian era. Also used to hold plants.
  • Epergne - On small dining room table: - A very favorite accessory for flower arrangements used during the Victorian era. This Epergne is hand blown, circa 1865; glass is combination of Opaline, Vaseline and clear. Although piece came from Cardiff in Wales, it was originally produced in the famous "Glassworks" near Bristol Channel, England.
